Make Your Body Friendly with the Magic of Yoga

Restorative yoga is good for stress release, healing from stress injuries, rejuvinating the nervous system and getting well-aligned without having to labour for it.  Poses are held for longer periods in fully supported poses using props such as blocks, straps and bolsters to carry the weight of the joint as you RELAX.

This practice is perfect for caregivers who barely have a moment to fully relax, may face sleeping issues due to being wired and who need a place to care exclusively for themselves and for a change.  I hope you will also get connected to other caregivers in the process and build up a supportive caregiving network in the process.

Can’t sleep?

For this class you will need a yoga mat, block, strap and blanket. A second mat to layer them and layered clothes will come in handy for cooler days – prepare to stay warm while you do your yoga in Winnipeg.
